What are the problems in the stamping technology of industrial aluminum profiles?So what are the solutions?

First,there are problems

1.Mold problem

Stamping processing used by the mold generally has specificity,sometimes a complex parts need several sets of mold to process forming,and mold manufacturing precision is high,high technical requirements,is technology-intensive products.Therefore,only in the case of large stamping production batch,the advantages of stamping processing can be fully reflected,so as to obtain better economic benefits.

2.Safety issues

Stamping processing also has some problems and shortcomings.The main performance in the stamping processing noise and vibration produced two kinds of public hazards,and the operator's safety accidents happen from time to time.However,these problems are not entirely due to the stamping processing technology and the mold itself,but mainly due to the traditional stamping equipment and backward manual operation.With the progress of science and technology,especially the development of computer technology,with the progress of mechatronics technology,these problems will be solved as soon as possible and perfect.

3,high strength steel stamping

Nowadays,high strength steel and ultra-high strength steel have well realized the lightweight of vehicles and improved the collision strength and safety performance of vehicles.Therefore,they have become the important development direction of automotive steel.But with the increase of the strength of the sheet metal,the traditional cold stamping process is easy to crack in the process of forming,which can not meet the processing technology requirements of high strength steel plate.Under the condition that the forming conditions cannot be satisfied,the hot stamping forming technology of ultra-high strength steel plate is gradually studied.The technology is a new process of synthesis of forming,heat transfer and tissue phase change,mainly using the characteristics of high temperature austenite state,sheet plastic increase,yield strength reduction,through the mold forming process.However,the process conditions,metal phase transformation and CAE analysis technology of thermal forming need to be deeply studied.At present,this technology is monopolized by foreign manufacturers,and the development of domestic is slow.

Second,solutions

In the past,it was considered that pressure resistant(EP)lubricants were a good choice to protect the die when producing deep or redrawn parts.Sulfur and chlorinated EP additives have a long history of being mixed into pure oils to improve die life.However,with the emergence of new metals--high strength steel,stringent environmental requirements,the value of EP oil-based lubricants has decreased,or even lost the market.

When forming high strength steels at high temperatures,EP oil-based lubricants lose their properties and are unable to provide physical mold protection for the diaphragm in extreme temperature applications.Extreme temperature IRMCO high solid polymer lubricants provide the necessary protection.As the metal is deformed in the stamping die and the temperature increases,the EP oil-based lubricants will thin and in some cases reach a flash point or burn(smoke).IRMCO water-based stamping lubricants generally start with a much lower consistency.As the temperature rises during the forming process,it becomes thicker and stronger.In fact,high polymer extreme temperature lubricants are"heat seeking"and will stick to the metal,forming a diaphragm that reduces friction.This protective barrier allows the workpiece to stretch without breaking and bonding when the demanding workpiece is formed,thereby controlling friction and metal flow.It effectively protects the die,prolongs the service life of the die and improves the strength of stamping.
