CNC(Computerised Numerical Control Machine)is a kind of automatic Machine tool equipped with program Control system,which is mainly used for large-scale machining parts.

CNC is generally composed of host,CNC device,driving device,auxiliary device,programming and other ancillary equipment,CNC device is the core of CNC.

First,the characteristics of the introduction

Compared with ordinary machine tools,CNC machine tools have the following characteristics:

●High machining accuracy,with stable processing quality;

●Can be multi-coordinate linkage,can process complex shapes of parts;

●machining parts change,generally only need to change the numerical control program,can save production preparation time;

●Machine tool itself high accuracy,rigidity,can choose the favorable processing amount,high productivity(generally 3~5 times of the ordinary machine tool);

●Machine tool automation is high,can reduce the labor intensity;

●Higher quality requirements for operators and higher technical requirements for maintenance personnel.

Two,the working principle

CNC machine tools are generally composed of the following parts:

●Host,which is the main body of CNC machine tool,including machine tool body,column,spindle,feed mechanism and other mechanical parts.It is used to complete a variety of cutting machine parts.

●CNC device,is the core of CNC machine tools,including hardware(printed circuit board,CRT display,key box,paper tape reader,etc.)and the corresponding software,used for input digital parts program,and complete the storage of input information,data transformation,interpolation operation and achieve a variety of control functions.

●Drive device,it is a CNC machine tool actuator driving parts,including spindle drive unit,feed unit,spindle motor and feed motor,etc.It realizes spindle and feed drive by electric or electro-hydraulic servo system under the control of numerical control device.When several feed linkage,positioning,straight line,plane curve and space curve processing can be completed.

●Auxiliary device,some necessary supporting parts of the index control machine tool,to ensure the operation of the CNC machine tool,such as cooling,chip removal,lubrication,lighting,monitoring,etc.It includes hydraulic and pneumatic device,chip discharging device,exchange table,CNC turntable and CNC dividing head,also includes cutting tools and monitoring and testing devices,etc.

●Programming and other auxiliary equipment can be used for programming and storage of parts outside the machine.
